Dinner Gathering at Crazy World Cafe.

Guess what gathering we had yesterday? Elson’s dinner gathering at Crazy World Café located at Chinatown. The ambience there is very nice, the foods are yummy and the way they served us is good, too! :)

Reached the cafe quite early and decided to take a walk outside with Shi Xian and Shi Xuan. Went to meet Shing Hoong at control station and we happen to saw Shirley and Mei Ling. Slack around and start chatting about random stuffs before we went back to the café as the gathering is going to starts soon.
Took this at control station. (:
There’s a slight changes in taking of pictures and so on because Elson needs to leave at 9pm to visit his Aunt. So we took pictures with him first before and/or while the foods are being served. I've ordered Fish & Chips plus Green Tea! Haha. At least the Fish & Chips here are more delicious than the one I had with my friend at Bugis. Opps. =/

The first dish was ready and guessed who the lucky one who is served by Elson? *drum rolls* Is Kenneth! (: I guess he felt shy yet honored ba. At then, Elson was the waiter! Hahaha. But this waiter a bit likes no experience leis. Because a waiter or waitress cannot put the tray on the customer’s table. :x
While we are waiting to take pictures with Elson, the four of us kept playing ‘stare stare’ game. LOL! I know it’s quite funny or childish, but this was the only way we can make ourselves laugh and kill our boredom. :D
Finally, it's our turn to take pictures! =) I shall let the pictures do the talking.
Lovely Sister, Shi Xian! :D
Group Photo. :)
 Autograph Session!
Overall, the dinner gathering was fun. :) Hope to have more of this. Lol. I am anticipating for the releasing of Elson's debut album. What about everyone? Haha. Before I end my post, I wanna share something with everyone which caught my eyes at Crazy World Cafe. Not something unique or special, but something that worth a look, maybe to me only. Haha. Take a look! (:
Yes, I am referring to this mug! Not the mug itself caught my eyes, but the wording and design. 就算失望, 不要绝望. 因为绝望会让你失去信心.

Talk my heart out.

Worked overtime on Saturday, until 1.30am. Hahas! Took cab home. Reached home from work and was feeling heart warming because my daddy and mummy waited for me at my house downstairs. :P but feel so sorry at the same time, because of me, they're still awake at around 2.15am. :( My working contract supposed to end on last Sunday, but I am asked to work for the restaurant on this coming Friday and Saturday, too! :)

The colleagues was friendly and patience towards my friends and I. Same goes to my agent, the one who introduced me the job. He was a so funny and humorous. Hahas. :)

如果我想你了, 我会想... 你是不是也会想我呢? 哪怕... 只有短短一秒钟.

How I wish I can speak to the life coach soon. I think I need lots of advice and someone to talk my heart out. I shall contact him tomorrow. His words and the attitude of living everyday in a positive way really impressed me. I wish I was like him. :(

A visit to Peranakan Museum and First day of work at Esplanade.

Yesterday headed to school at around 8am. Met Tsui Wan and some other friends at cafe. Sat down there and wait for our attendance to be marked before we make our way to the bus. Helped the teacher-in-charge to marked attendance and you know what, the attendance was horrible. =/ Less than half the class came and as for next door class, at least more than half.

Listened to music in bus while resting. Lol! The journey to the museum was so long. So I managed to rest inside the bus. Haha. The museum is quite small, but it really takes some time for you to complete a DIY tour.
Han Jian, Tsui Wan and me! :D Peranakan's Marriage Style.

Myself with my best friend, Tsui Wan. :)
Peranakan's Dining Style! So cool leis.
This one is the costume of Peranakan (if I am not wrong). :) Didn't stand there to take the picture because the light effect was not very nice.
Overall the trip was awesome. DIY trip with Han Jian, Tsui Wan, Horace (mei mei), Benjamin and Jun Yuan. The guys were all camera shy. ._. Hahas. Board different buses back to school and I met mummy and sister for lunch. Went home to prepare and meet Lilian at Yew Tee control station. As today is my first day of work at Esplanade. Haha. Really wanna thanked her for accompany me. 4+ I went in to the restaurant and she trained home alone. =x

First day of work, company's dinner. First one hour we have to served free-flow drinks and tidbits. The tray was so heavy! My hand stayed at the same position for an hour, going around asking 'Hello Madam/Sir, would you like to try this...'. After an hour, someone helped me to carry the tray and put it down. I couldn't move my arm and fingers. My god. :( End work at 11pm. Shing Hoong and Xing Yu came to accompany me. :) Thank you people. Hahas. In train, my arm still cannot really move.

Today when I woke up, my body, arm and shoulder down all muscle aching! :x Hope I will recover soon because I will be working on Saturday and Sunday, too. Oh anyway, today I went to school for Art Fest. Mdm Lee, our school's Principal, make a speech. She's leaving the school as she had serve the school for six years already. She stood on the stage while prefects and and sports leader went up to give her a rose. Hot tears trickled slowly down her cheeks, as well as my friend's. As for me, tears are rolling in my eyes. Before the end of the day, whole school stand and sang the school song for her. I stare in disbelief because when it come to singing the school song, people will be a little frustrated. But this time round, everybody sang. (Y)

One of the sentences I quoted from the principal's speech was "To be happy is to be grateful to all the things around you".

PS: somehow, when I start to work, I become more mature. Because it's the time when I can put myself in my parents' shoes that earning money ain't easy. :') I know for myself that I might not be a pampered child but my parents never fail to give me the things that I yearn for. Sometimes, I envy other child for having the things that I do not have, but I did not tell my parents. But they seems to be able to read me like a book. I was caught off-guard when they approached me and say that they will get it for me some other time. I know that 'other time' will never comes but, instead of blaming them, I slowly erase the things that I am yearning off my mind. Like what my school's Principal has said, you must be grateful to all the things around you, other wise you will not be happy. :)

I love to see the sunrise!

Met my best friend, Tsui Wan, outside the Choa Chu kang stadium at 6.30am this morning and walked to park connector at Yew Tee there. The air was very fresh and I enjoyed the breeze while jogging! :) Do some warm-ups and start jogging. Hahas.

I love to see the sunrise! :D
I think I will be taking part in the Elson Soh blog writing competition ba. :)

Oh anyway, just a random question. Will your loathe or agitated over someone if they are just making excuses instead of telling you the truth? Personally, I hate people who make excuses. But I just simply won't understand why people just wouldn't tell the truth. Maybe telling the truth might hurt someone, but knowing that you are deceived, hurts more.

Elson makes my day with just one word. A word that I'd been yearning to hear from someone. Guess what is it. It's TRUST. It would be so happy to hear someone saying that he/she trust you in all sorts of way, depends on the situation. Hopefully I didn't break your trust. :) Because I know that once someone breaks a trust, that person will not be trustworthy anymore.

The Child's Eye (童眼).

After school today, went to Lot One for a walk. 1+ bused home to get changed. Meet my best friend, Tsui Wan, at Choa Chu Kang mrt platform and trained down to Plaza Singapura to meet Joycelyn! :D Wanted to ask more people to go. But seems like everybody was busy with work or studies.

We went to watch the new movie, The Child's Eye (童眼)3D. Bought popcorn and pocky sticks in. :) Thank you Joycelyn and Tsui Wan for accompanying me to watch this movie wor. Thanks. ^^ I will not forget the way we screamed in the cinema. Hahaha! :D

The starting and middle part of the movie is quite interesting and scary. The ending was pretty touching and sad. :) This is the trailer of the movie.

A trip to RP and Tiong Bahru.

Yeah! Today I accompanied Stephanie (Shi Xuan) to Republic Poly to do some admin stuffs. I am so happy to be able to accompany her! Hehes. After she'd settled the admin stuffs, we went to Causeway Point to buy something. A surprised for the founder of YouthBox, Joseph! :D

This actually was meant to be a surprised and also a heart of apology. No one knows what apology apart from Joseph, Stephanie and myself. ^^ Went to Mega Food Mall at Causeway Point to write a card. After that, trained down to Tiong Bahru to find Joseph. He told me to meet at Tiong Bahru Mall (which supposed to be Plaza) and we actually couldn't find it and asked a passers-by. Then he called me again and said that it is Tiong Bahru Plaza! Tsk, Joseph ah~ Hahas.

Three of us went to arcade to play. Stephanie and I were feeling so awkward to give him the gift. :x But end up, we did. Hope he like it! :)
Left one is what Stephanie gave him and right one from me. :)
After we played this (above picture), Joseph played basketball. His skill ah, not bad la! Haha :D Ohya Joseph, did you cry because you are too touched? Hahas.
After that, walked him to mrt station, took a photo with him using his camera because he wants to edit it. Lol. :| Haven't get the photo yet, maybe I will get it from him soon. :) Bid-goodbye and Stephanie and I headed to KFC for dinner. :)
Yays, my shot was better than Stephanie! :P
Well, thanks Stephanie and Joseph for the day. I've enjoyed and felt elated when I am with you guys. :) Hope to have more of this meet-ups. :D

Finally, N level exams had come to an end. Another two more weeks of lessons and then I will be enjoying holidays. I have started to find a job already, but most of it needs to start work immediately. As my holidays haven’t started yet, I have to miss the chance. Looking back, still remember my first job experience – working as a waitress at one the restaurant located at Clementi. Always end work at either earliest 9pm, or latest 10pm or 11pm. Remember that time, my best friend, who is also my school mate, will knocked off together and get a cup of drinks before heading to the bus stop. Without fail, I still remember we would need to wait for very long before the bus would finally arrived.
No matter how tired we felt, we won’t complain a single complaint because we will joke and laugh around as finally we end work already. That was my first time experiencing a working life. Very tiring but it’s a new experience gained. This time round, I am looking for something new, instead of working as a waitress again. And of course, my friend will alight at Choa Chu Kang and I alight at Yew Tee. Not to forget my dearest mummy – she would always walk alone in the dark district just to make sure she’s on time to reached Yew Tee to walk me home. I told her umpteen times that it’s okay for me to walk home alone, asking her not to walked alone, taking shortcuts to Yew Tee to fetch me because that shortcut route is very dark, especially when I always reach Yew Tee at 12midnight or even later. I will be worry for her safety. She didn’t listen to me and, without fail, every time when I reached Yew Tee, the most familiar face I saw, is her.

The smile on her face really turns away my tiredness. She will offer to carry my bag, which is as usual, erms, and thank you mummy! Words fail me. I have got so much to say. But I could only expressed that much. Nevertheless, reading back those cards and letters I wrote to my mum, I had already expressed my gratitude towards her unconditional love.

The light that shines one's heart.

Vision is a single candle lit on a dark night. One spark ignites in another heart, then another, then another — light added to light until dark is diminished. Vision is the ability to see with the heart what no one can see with the eye.

Yesterday I went to Yew Tee Point with parents. Happen to saw Shirley, Evon, Joycelyn, Joseph, Elson, Shanice and William. Lol. Coincidence okay! ((: Guess I spotted who first? Joseph! Because he's wearing 'Cheer You Up' Tee. Very striking. Hahas. :)

Oh ya, thanks Evon and Shirley for the ring. It's very nice. So sweet of the both of you. Hehes.
